Opening:
The regular meeting of the LSCA was called to order at
5:22 pm on May 1st in Cajun Elite by President Clint Foster.

A. Approval of Agenda
The agenda was unanimously approved as distributed.
B. Approval of Minutes
There were no previous meetings to approve.
C. Open Issues
The Agenda consisted of LSCA State Championships, LSCA
Hall of Fame Inductee, Insurance Renewal and Financials
D. New Business
The LA State Championships
The targets setters for the Oct 1-3 LA State Championships
were discussed and agreed upon. Reggie Quillin will be setting Main and
Prelim targets, Royce Murphy will be doing the small gauge, Paul Hawkins
will set the 5 Stand, and Jason Burroughs will set the FITASC event. There
was also a unanimous decision to keep the small gauge event at 50 birds.
Guaranteed payouts were discussed. The board members will
try to find sponsors to guarantee money in the main event 3 places deep in
class and 1 place in concurrents while keeping the shoot at a low cost to
all La shooters. There was a motion to put payouts in the event and it was

Seconded by Duke Hulsey.
There was also a discussion concering this year’s hall of
fame inductee. The board would like to induct Mr Jimmie Quillin who the la
shooting world has lost recently. The board voted unanimously for this.
The board also voted on the renewal of the board insurance
as this was always carried in the past.
Kim Reported that as of meeting date the LSCA had
$17,477.85 (Update that as of 5/12/10 the LSCA has $23073.75)
E. Agenda for Next Meeting
There has not been a formal next meeting yet set up for
the LSCA board.
